The RSPCA is appealing for information after this dog was found dumped in a wheelie bin in Market Deeping
An RSPCA inspector is appealing for information after a dog was found dumped in a bin.
The large brindle cross dog was found trapped in the bin in The Blades, Market Deeping, on Thursday. A resident heard the dog barking at about 6am and called the RSPCA after discovering the animal was trapped.
The dog, an adult male, is now being cared for by the RSPCA.
RSPCA inspector for south Lincolnshire Andy Bostock said the dog was not harmed.
He said: “Clearly this was a distressing incident for the dog and we would appeal for any information which would assist us in tracking down what happened to this dog and how it came to be trapped in a bin.”
The RSPCA is currently reviewing CCTV footage taken from the area.
Anyone who can help should call the RSPCA hotline on 0300 1234 999, quoting incident number 620-28-02-13.
