Runner boosts funds for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Fund in Great North Run
Great North Run competitor Louise Bradley hands her giant cheque for �730 to Andy Fuller, for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Fund.
A woman who ran the Great North Run handed over hundreds of pounds for a cancer charity close to her heart on the weekend.
Louise Bradley, of Hawthorn Road, Bourne raised £730 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Fund after her aunt died of the disease aged 66. On Saturday Louise made the donation to the local branch.
Chairman of the branch Andy Fuller said: “What she has done is fantastic.
“A huge heartfelt thank- you goes out to her from all the people either suffering or raising money to fight Leukaemia.”
