Community groups came together to host the first learning disability awareness event in Rutland.
The day, which was organised by Rutland Parent Carer Voice, Rutland Mencap and Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre, was packed full of fun and activities for those with disabilities.
The event was held at Oakham Castle and gave people the chance to try out their basketball skills, riding on a rodeo bull and enjoy the experience of going down a large inflatable slide.
There were also a number of stalls held by Boots, Rutland Healthwatch and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Food was provided by Rutland Lions.
More than 700 people attended the event, and the three groups who organised the event have thanked everyone who participated or helped out on the day.
