Foodbank volunteers have helped to feed more than 500 people in just 10 months.

Rutland Foodbank was set up in September last year to help those struggling to feed themselves and their families.

From two distribution centres in Oakham and Uppingham they have fed more than 500 people, and demand continues to grow.

To celebrate, the foodbank steering group invited all their volunteers to an afternoon tea to say thank you for all the hours of work given.

The charity is still looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks.
