Police and Crime Commissioner Sir Clive Loader has received an award for his engagement with young people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Comparing Police and Crime Commissioners (CoPaCC) Public Engagement Award 2014 recognising the work of the youth commission was presented to Sir Clive at Leicestershire police force headquarters by Bernard Rix, international police advisor and chief executive officer of the organisation, which monitors the work of police and crime commissioners and shares best practice.

Sir Clive said he was delighted to receive the award recognising the work of the youth commission, which spoke to young people to find the relationship they had with the police and identify their priority issues.
