Adventurer Sarah Outen is set to share her experiences of her worldwide exploration.
The 28-year-old from Oakham is halfway through her expedition, London2London: Via the World, in which she aims to complete a loop of the planet by human power alone.
Sarah’ latest episode in her journey was to row solo across the Pacific Ocean, a feat she completed in September last year. She is returning to Alaska in April to continue her challenge by kayak and bike.
She is raising funds for WaterAid, Motor Neurone Disease, Coppafeel and the Jubilee Sailing Trust.
Sarah will be giving a talk at Oakham School on Thursday next week, at 7.30pm.
