Two schools are celebrating after proving they have raised the profile of science.
Great Casterton and Empingham Primary Schools, which are partners, have picked up the Primary Science Quality Mark Award.
This year the pupils have enjoyed more science trips, as well as having more fun during science lessons. Staff are hoping to maintain the children’s excitement with a visit to the Big Bang Science Fair in London in March.
