Show support at Deepings Raft Race meeting
People interested in being part of a river race have been invited to a committee meeting.
The new group set up to run the Deepings Raft Race will meet at The Red Lion pub in West Deeping at 7pm on Tuesday.
The future of the event seemed to be in doubt after the Rotary Club of The Deepings said it could not afford to run the race this year.
But a new committee has been formed and hopes are high that a smaller event can still be organised in time for the summer.
