People were proudly showing off their colourful art and produce at a popular show at the weekend.
Empingham Garden Club held its 8th annual show yesterday (Sunday) at Empingham Audit Hall, attracting more than 280 entries from 38 exhibitors.
Prizes were awarded in a number of categories including flowers and pot plants, hanging baskets, fruits and vegetables, needlework, arts and crafts, and many more.
The show also included children’s classes for young exhibitors.
More than 130 visitors attended the event and the organisers were delighted with its success, despite numbers being slightly down on last year’s show.
Empingham Garden Club chairman Alan Lambert said: “It went very, very well.
“We had some good produce and we were very pleased.
“There was a lot of hard work put in by the club and it was lovely to see a good crowd.”
Visitors were also entertained by a raffle organised by the club.
Money raised will go towards the club’s funds and next year’s show.
