Waiting for Video...

Updated Saturday, 2.15pm: We’ve had a flurry of snow pictures sent in so we’ve put together this slideshow, but keep those pictures coming.

Paul Coulson was one of the latest to send an image in. His picture shows sons Logan, five, and Callum, two, in Arran Road, Stamford this morning (Saturday).

Vinnie Clare, of Bourne, sent in a picture of lollipop man Steve Saunders doing his job in Manning Road, Bourne, yesterday.

And Sally Medd took a picture out the back of East Lane, Morton, at 8.15am this morning (Saturday).

Keep your pictures coming and we’ll try and update this story later today with more of them and perhaps a slideshow.

Send your pictures to our newsdesk.

Elsewhere in the region, a young woman from Peterborough has died following a crash involving a number of vehicles on the A1.

The accident happened in bad weather on the A1 at Little Ponton, near Grantham, shortly after 6pm yesterday (Friday, January 18), Lincolnshire Police said.

The woman - who has not yet been named - was from the Peterborough area of Cambridgeshire and next of kin have been informed.

It is not known whether anyone else was injured in the crash.

Police want to speak with anyone who saw a silver Nissan Micra in the area at the time.

Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire Police on 101.

Tonight’s (Saturday) meeting at Peterborough Greyhounds Stadium has been cancelled because of the heavy snow.

The Met Office forecast isn’t predicting more snow for the Stamford area today (Saturday), but does say heavy snow is expected tomorrow (Sunday) at around lunchtime.
