A Christmas fair at Langtoft Primary School raised more than £1,000 for projects that benefit the children. such as the Key Stage 2 library which is expected to be redeveloped.

With plenty of singing and a visit by Minnie and Mickey Mouse mascots, there was a “brilliant atmosphere” at the school, said Hannah Scott, secretary of the charity Friends of Langtoft School.

“The atmosphere was helped along nicely by performances by Inspire Dance, the Langtoft Primary School Choir, Stamford Concert Singers and Handful of Harmonies,” Hannah added.

“The evening ended on a high with the raffle draw which raised well over £200 on its own.”
