Legends from the world of cricket and rugby will put on a show for the crowds and help raise funds for the Thorpe Hall Hospice appeal in Stamford in July.

Former England cricketer Dean Headley is busy preparing Sport Bash - a two-day sporting event held at Stamford School on 25 and 26 July.

The event on 25 July will feature a team of cricket legends going head to head against local cricketers in a Twenty20 spectacular.

A share of the money raised will go towards the appeal.

The following day will include a team of Leicester Tigers legends trying their hand at cricket against a Northampton Saints legends side.

There will be further announcements made in the coming weeks.
