A CHARITY worker has won a national award in recognition of her work for Epilepsy Action.

Pam Milne has been crowned the charity’s member of year for her support for the Stamford branch’s fundraising and social events for the past 15 years.

Pam’s son Stuart had epilepsy and regularly attended the town’s branch meetings before he tragically died in 2009.

Pam said: “I feel very honoured to receive this award and would like to thank everyone involved.

“The meetings were part of Stuart’s life and he made many friends there.”
