Stamford Cupcake Company will help hospital unit
A woman will be holding a cupcake stall and prize draw to raise funds for a hospital.
Barbara Farrow, who owns Stamford Cupcake Company, will be running the prize draw in addition to her usual cake stall outside the library in High Street, Stamford, on Saturday, March 9, from 7am until 4pm.
Tickets for the prize draw are £1 each and among the prizes will be Mother’s Day cupcake baskets, as well as a host of prizes donated by businesses including The William Cecil, Bull and Swan, Adorn Accessories, Crown Hotel and Anand Shoes.
Every business which has donated will be displaying pink balloons on the day.
There will also be games including guess how many sweets in the jar and name the bear, as well as pink ribbon biscuits on sale.
All the money raised will go towards the palliative care specialist team and the emergency short stay ward at Peterborough City Hospital.
Barbara is fundraising for the hospital, which cared for her mother Sylvia Fitness who died in January aged 70.
To buy tickets for the prize draw before the stall call Barbara on 07825153003.
