Stamford Town Council backs £5m sports stadium and education centre plans
A town council has backed plans to develop a £5m sports stadium and education centre.
Stamford Town Council recommended the plans by New College Stamford, the Burghley House Preservation Trust and Stamford AFC be approved when they go before South Kesteven District Council.
Stamford Town Council had a special meeting when it heard the plans to develop the new Daniels ground and the sports centre, which will be used by college students, off Ryhall Road in Stamford.
