Stamford’s first ever Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile

PEOPLE have the chance to raise funds for charity in Stamford’s first ever Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.

The run takes place on March 25 and starts at Stamford Rugby Club before passing through Empingham Road Playing Fields.

Entrants can run either one, three or six miles.

Sport Relief raises money to help disadvantaged people in the UK and the world’s poorest countries, and is held every two years.

Event organiser Steve Fowkes said: “The Sport Relief Mile is here and it’s your time to shine. There’s something for everyone on the big day and it’s set to be an amazing event.”
