Teenager breaks leg in sledging accident

PARAMEDICS had to airlift a teenager to hospital after a sledging accident last week.

The boy, thought to be aged 14 or 15, is believed to have broken his leg in Little Bytham on Friday afternoon.

East Midlands Ambulance service was called out to the site at about 3.20pm and the incident was logged as serious but not life threatening.

A spokesman said: "A land ambulance and the air ambulance were dispatched and the patient was taken via air ambulance to hospital."

It is not known if the teenager is still in hospital.
