The Mercury is highlighting the problem of potholes and is calling on readers to get involved.
We believe potholes across Stamford, Bourne, the Deepings and Rutland are causing a nightmare for drivers and are asking readers to contact us to highlight any particularly bad ones.
We will then be calling on Lincolnshire County Council, Rutland County Council, Northamptonshire County Council and Peterborough City Council to repair them.
So far, we have already been made aware of potholes in Rutland Terrace, Stamford; South Fen Road, Bourne; St Peter’s Street, Stamford; St Leonard’s Street, Stamford, and on the A43 in Easton-on-the-Hill.
The first pothole reported to us in North Street, Stamford, has already been temporarily patched.
If you want to report a pothole to us, e-mail our newsdesk or send us a tweet using the hashtag #potholes.
