Thieves steal £5,000 shotguns

POLICE are appealing for anyone offered guns for sale to get in touch immediately after two £5,000 shotguns were stolen from a home.

Thieves broken in through a kitchen window of a house in Glen Road, Castle Bytham, between 5pm on Tuesday and 5pm on Wednesday.

They removed a shotgun cabinet from a wall and forced it open. They stole a 12-bore handmade game gun worth about 5,000 and a 5,000 20-bore handmade game gun.
