Two killed and two critically injured in crash on A43 at Fineshade
Two men died and a woman and an 18-month old boy suffered critical injuries after the car they were travelling in collided with a truck.
A silver Mazda 5 and a white DAF truck crashed on the A43 at Fineshade, south of Duddington, at about 8.20pm yesterday (Tuesday).
Two men, the driver and passenger of the Mazda, aged 21 and 28, were pronounced dead at the scene, and a woman and 18-month-old boy, also passengers of the Mazda, suffered critical injuries.
The driver of the truck suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
Three volunteer emergency doctors from East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme and paramedics from the East Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene. Police are looking for witnesses to the crash. Call 101 with information.
