Crowds of people from across the area flocked to Stamford today (Saturday) as popular TV show Dickinson’s Real Deal came to town.
David Dickinson and his team of experts from the ITV show were at New College Stamford and hundreds turned out with their antiques hoping to make a sale.
Fans of the programme and antiques enthusiasts were given the chance to have their items valued, and then either sell them to dealers or take them to auction if they believed a greater sale could be had.
A whole range of items including jewellery, weaponry and collector’s games were brought to the table and presenter Mr Dickinson was impressed by the turnout and what he saw.
Speaking about the day, he said: “A great turnout, lots of people with lots of interesting goods. People were queuing at eight o’clock this morning. It’s been great.”
