Video: Hockey club’s charity capers
A fancy dress fun day held by members of a hockey club on Saturday has raised about £200 for charity.
About 70 people dug out their best and brightest fancy dress to raise money for Children in Need and mark the opening of a new pitch and facilities at Arthur Mellows Village College in Glinton, where the club will now play its league games.
Seven teams played a series of matches in their fancy dress, donating their match fees.
The club wished to thank the Iron Horse Ranch for providing tea, coffee and bacon rolls.
