Stamford School head Will Phelan and his wife Lorna get in the wartime spirit

Stamford School head Will Phelan and his wife Lorna get in the wartime spirit

A vintage wartime dinner dance for charity was held at Stamford School.

The event organised by the Friends of Stamford School was attended by more 100 parents, staff and friends of the school.

The event raised £800 for soldiers charity Help for Heroes.

The school hall was decked out in regalia of wartime propaganda, bunting and bunkers and everyone entered into the spirit by dressing up in the costume of the day and dancing to swing music of the Second World War.
