Volunteer to help WRVS services in the area

An organisation which helps run services to support older people in communities is appealing for more people to join as volunteers.

Every day WRVS helps thousands of older people to live independently in their home.

The charity provides practical services in homes, in hospitals and in the community so people can be independent and active.

Volunteers make a massive difference within their communities and are committed to making Britain a great place to grow old.

The charity is currently seeking to recruit volunteers, particularly drivers, for its home from hospital service and new community transport scheme which will operate throughout Lincolnshire.

These will provide important services to help older people stay independent in their homes and active in their local community.

Anyone over the age of 16 can join.

For more information about volunteering call the WRVS Volunteer Recruitment Line on 0845 6014670 or visit www.wrvs.org.uk
