Witness appeal after four homes burgled in Stamford

Police are investigating a spate of burglaries in Stamford.

A home in Cedar Road was broken into between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Saturday. Thieves smashed a patio window and stole a number of small items.

Call 101 quoting incident 433 of February 1 if you saw anything.

Burglars targeted a house in Highlands Way between 11am on Saturday and 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday). A window was smashed and several items were stolen.

Incident 222 of February 2.

Jewellery and cash were taken from a house in Lonsdale Road between midday on Tuesday and 8.45pm on Thursday last week.

Incident 375 of January 30.

And burglars broke into a house in Masterton Road between 6pm and 10.45pm on Wednesday last week. Nothing was stolen.

Incident 68 of January 30.

Police are also looking into an attempted burglary in St Guthlac’s Avenue, Market Deeping, at 8.05pm on Wednesday last week. Thieves tried to get into the house but failed.

Incident 391 of January 30.
