Youngsters celebrate World Book Day in fancy dress at Headstart Nursery in Bourne

These youngsters dressed up as their favourite book characters to mark a day celebrating reading.

The children at Headstart Nursery in Bourne had a fantastic day marking World Book Day.

The aim of the day is to encourage youngsters to get stuck into a good book and enjoy reading.

Our picture shows Sharon Eastman with some of the children in their outfits, including popular story characters The Gruffalo, Harry Potter and Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.
