More than 550 children had fun at a multi-skills sports festival.
The event was held at The Deepings School for youngsters in Years 1 and 2 from Market Deeping, William Hildyard, Southview, Linchfield, Langtoft and Deeping St Nicholas primary schools.
The sports leaders from The Deepings School were on hand to assist organiser Clare Ladley, a school sport coordinator, with running the event.
The festival was run over two days in the sports hall and the children participated in a range of events designed to develop the skills needed in all sports.
The events included activities such as agility runs, standing long jump, chest push, skipping and throwing bean bags into hoops.
Clare said: “The challenge for our sports leader students was how best to interact with such young children.
“But they did a fantastic job and the primary school children had a great day.”
