Lunch is enjoyed for Marie Curie Cancer Care

GUESTS at a charity lunch enjoyed talks and a hotel tour.

The South Lincolnshire fundraising group for Marie Curie Cancer Care organised the lunch at the William Cecil Hotel in Stamford on Tuesday last week.

The event sold out with 130 guests enjoying tours of the hotel, a two-course lunch and talks from the Burghley House curator Jon Culverhouse and interior designer Christine Boswell.

The event raised £5,000, which chairman of the branch Mary Napier was delighted with. She thanked businesses, which supported the event including Smiths Gore, Miss Pickering Flowers, The Bull and Swan and Batemans Auctioneers.
