CROWDS of families joined together to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee in Banks Crescent, Stamford today (Sunday).
A bouncy castle and huge marquee on the estate’s green was the venue for the event which was well attended by residents of all ages.
Organiser Lorraine Ball said: “It’s great that people have got together for the jubilee. The British public are good at keeping spirits high.
“It’s a new estate so it’s been a great opportunity for people to pop out and say hello to each other.
“I would also like to thank the Malcolm Sargent PTFA for the marquee. It couldn’t have gone ahead without it.”
