The Mayor of Stamford John Dawson cut the ribbon on the Little Cherubs Day Nursery in Broad Street, Stamford.

Owners Elizabeth and James Wigglesworth, pictured above with their sons and Coun Dawson, have spent months transforming 15 and 16 Broad Street into a bright space for children from three months to school age.

On Saturday, the mayor and town crier were there for the official opening. The Rev Gavin Cooper was also there to bless all the rooms and Judith Wade, who opened Stamford’s first children’s nursery Happy Days, gave a reading.

The nursery can take up to 80 children. To find out more call 01780 751222.
