MERCURY staff will be among thousands of women taking part in the Race for Life at Burghley House.
The popular women-only race will be at the stately home in Stamford on Saturday and Sunday, May 14 and 15.
For the first time there will be a 10km race on the Saturday with a 5km session on Sunday at 11am.
Plans to hold two sessions on Sunday were dropped due to insufficient numbers of entrants.
Money raised goes to Cancer Research UK, which is hoping thousands of women will take part and raise £520,000.
Mercury editor Eileen Green will be leading the Mercury team, which also includes reporters Megan Horner, Kerry Coupe and Jan Konik and advertising representative Kim Clenaghan.
Eileen said: “We are all really looking forward to Race for Life and hope to see lots of women on the day doing their bit for this fantastic cause.
“Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer, which is why we want to raise lots of money for Cancer Research UK.
