A BUDDING actress has been walking along the Yellow Brick Road in a new production.
Ten-year-old Millie Henson donned the ruby slippers in the lead role of Dorothy in the Ringstone Players’ show, The Wizard of Oz.
After months of juggling her school work along with taking her 11 plus exam, with rehearsing and learning her lines, the youngster took to the stage at Edenham Village Hall.
Millie, who lives with parents Andy and Ashleigh in Northorpe, was eager to get on stage.
She said: “I am looking forward to the performance.”
Performances will be held tonight and tomorrow. A matinee and evening performance will be given tomorrow. Tickets cost £7 for adults and £5 for children.
