THE 13th Morton street fair which had a jubilee and Olympic theme this year was a big success according to organisers.
Stall holders were encouraged to dress their tables up in a style to fit the theme, the Billingborough, Horbling and Morton Scouts took the prize for best decorated stall.
A range of children’s entertainment was also on offer including bouncy castles, trampolines and a show from Burger Bill.
Tying in with the jubilee them there were a selection of vintage vehicles from 1952.
Secretary of the Morton and Hanthorpe 2000+ committee Brenda Hammond said: “It went very well, there were a lot of people around. The streets seemed to have people on them all through the day.
“It was a very successful day.”
