PERFORMERS are perfecting their acts for a week-long festival.
The Oundle Fringe will take place from July 14 to 22 and will bring a range of shows to the town.
Most of the town’s pubs, hotels and coffee bars, as well as the Oundle Bookshop and the new Nene Valley Brewery are offering their premises as venues.
Music from a variety of genres will be on offer, including folk, world, rock, and open sessions of Bluegrass, Irish and English folk.
Dancers from groups such as Thurning Irish and Tap & Sync Appalachian will show off their moves and festival-goers will have the opportunity to try French dancing with Tourdion.
Comedy and verse have a strong presence throughout the week along with choirs, raconteurs and theatre groups, including a group of London Academy actors performing scenes from Shakespeare plays.
The food festival will also make its return on July 21, with almost 50 stalls offering delicious treats.
