Voluntary Action Rutland appointed its new president at its 20th annual general meeting.

Air Commodore Peter Gover, who has been chairman of the group for 16 years, is set to take over the role from Air Chief Marshall Sir Jock Kennedy, who is standing down.

It was also announced that Carsten Pigott, who is pictured above taking the company seal from Peter Gover, would be the new trustee and director, and chairman.

Voluntary Action Rutland supports and promotes local voluntary action by providing advice, information, support, training and consultation.
