A graphic design student from New College Stamford has seen his work brought to life.

Graphic design students from the college were asked to design a wall mural for Rhino’s Gym in Stamford, which represented the gym’s core values. They also had to cost up the project, giving them a true insight.

The design by Kacper Trela, from Spalding, was chosen to be depicted on the wall. His creative typography design incorporating the gym’s values in the shape of a rhino.

Owner of Rhino’s Gym Nick Swann, pictured with Kacper, said: “All the entries were outstanding and a credit to the college’s graphics department but Kacper’s design really stood out for me. He interpreted the brief in to something completely unique.”

Kacper said: “It’s great to see my work outside a computer screen so early in my career. It was a great opportunity for all of us to get out there and do something real.”

Rhino’s Gym hope to continue working with the college’s graphic design department to brighten up the remaining walls.
