A PUB game has gone international with a new champion.
Residents of Stretton have played nurdles, where contestants try and throw coins through a slot in a wooden bench, at the Jackson Stops Inn, Manor Road for hundreds of years.
But this month the game had a non-English winner for the first time.
The championship trophy was won by Hungarian Hajnalka Kis, 31, of Manor Road, in her first time playing the game.
Stretton village summer fete takes place on Saturday and Sunday on Church Lane.
