The funeral service for Leslie Jackson, 91, of Stanley Street, Bourne, took place at Marholm Crematorium, Ernest Fytche officiating.
Son of William and Ethel Jackson, he was educated at Bourne Abbey Road, School. He worked as a land worker before becoming a chauffeur and lorry driver, and worked for Allis Chalmers, Fiat Allis and Bourne Charities.
His interests included pigeon racing, collecting watches and watching football.
Widower of Joyce, who died three year’s ago, he leaves his son Andrew.
