Obituary: Edwin Brooks

The funeral of Edwin Brooks, of Harvey Close, Bourne, took place at Marholm Crematorium, the Rev Peter Lister officiating.

Son of Ted and Maggie Brooks, he was educated at schools in Leicester and on leaving school became a boy entrant in the RAF, working his way up to chief technician. On leaving the RAF in 1975 he worked as an electrician for Greens of Whaplode.

He was a member of the Victor Association (aircraft) and also had a keen interest in vintage motorbikes. He enjoyed travelling and holidaying all round the world.

He leaves his widow Laura, son Mark and daughter Sharon.
