EMMA BLAND, a former post mistress, of Gainsborough Court, Cottesmore, died at Rutland Memorial Hospital, aged 91.
She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Jack Garner and was educated at Brooke Primary School and Oakham Central School.
Her main interest was her family, and she enjoyed making crafts, playing whist and reading.
Widow of Ronald Bland, she leaves her sons Ivan, David and Bryan and daughter Barbara.
The Rev Diane Creasey officiated at the funeral service at Greetham Parish Church. Peter Hitchcox was organist.
