THE funeral service for Merintha (Min) Robinson, of St Martin’s Close, Stamford, took place at St Mary and St Augustine’s Church, Stamford, Father Christopher O’Connor officiating.

Mrs Robinson died at Peterborough City Hospital, aged 88. She was the daughter of the late Bob and Emma Peacock and for many years worked at Blackstones with her twin sister Aleatha, where she met her husband Roy.

A devout Catholic, she attended church regularly and was a member of the Thursday Club.
