Olympic medallist Louis Smith will be at Baston Primary School tomorrow (Tuesday) to encourage youngsters to take part in sport.
Louis Smith, who won a silver and bronze medals at the London Olympics, will visit the school as part of his contribution to the legacy of London 2012.
Following many requests from schools during the games last year, the aim of the visit is to continue the Olympic vision of ‘Inspiring a Generation’ by encouraging them to participate in gymnastics and other sports.
The visit to Baston Primary School has been organised by the parent and teacher association and will include a question and answer session and photo opportunities.
Staff are keeping their fingers crossed that Louis will perform a few gymnastic moves.
Louis, from Eye near Peterborough, topped off an impressive 2012 by being crowned winner of BBC One programme Strictly Come Dancing.
Louis will also visit a number of schools in the Peterborough area.
