THREE friends are set to travel more than 850 miles across Britain in a Only Fools and Horses style Reliant Robin to raise funds for charity.

Dave Stubbs, 36, of Banks Crescent, and his friends, Andrew Jones and Paul Milburn, both 36 and from Cheshire, are taking on the road trip on Sunday in aid of Children’s Liver Disease Foundation. The group, who have called themselves Only Fools and Spanners, are completing the challenge for Andrew’s niece Imogen Daly who was diagnosed with a rare life-threatening liver disease at just three months.

Dave said: “It’s something we’ve always wanted to do and now it’s great to being doing it for a good cause and little Imogen.

“I’m going to be the Del Boy of the group and it’s going to be a great laugh. We’re all just hoping to raise as much as we can so any help is appreciated.”
