A beauty queen is delighted after winning a national contest.
Kat Harris was crowned UK Dazzling Beauty in a ceremony in Brighton in November.
Kat, 23, from Stamford, competed against eight regional finalists in four rounds.
The former Stamford Queen Eleanor School pupil had to create a portfolio for the judges, and she also raised money for charity.
After winning, Kat said: “I want to host a pageant here in Stamford, to show everyone that we aren’t just about pretty faces, that you really do have to work hard and maintain high standards of work in order to win.
“I want to encourage people to chase their dreams and to really make a difference.”
