The proceeds from a pamper evening have been handed over to a good cause.

Fiona McCarthy, from marketing business Arbonne, learned about the work of Alternatives Pregnancy Adv ice Service, which is based in Ryhall Road,Stamford, during a networking event.

She was so inspired that she approached New College Stamford and asked for help in running a fundraising event.

The beauty students at the college hosted a pamper evening, which raised more than £350 for the charity, despite only charging £5 a treatment.

Fiona said: “It just goes to show a little effort goes a long way.”
