LADIES looking for a bit of culinary inspiration have raised hundreds of pounds for a cancer charity.

Charlotte Tyers, a merchandise adviser at Sycamore Harley-Davidson in Uppingham, hosted a Pampered Chef evening as one of the company’s regular ladies’ nights.

The event was hosted in aid of Breast Cancer Care UK and raised £660.

Charlotte, 24, said: “The charity is close to my heart because I lost my nanny to breast cancer. It was great to raise so much money for a cause that means so much to me.

“I hope she is looking down on me and is proud of what I am doing.”

The guests enjoyed a series of cookery demonstrations by a Pampered Chef consultant.

The cheque was presented to Breast Cancer Care UK this week.
