PEOPLE are responding to a council’s list of possible solutions to resolve a dispute between a school and residents.
Lincolnshire County Council has written to everybody affected by the ongoing problem which involves teenagers at Bourne Grammar School parking in Austerby and Austerby Close in Bourne - which is causing problems for residents.
Solutions put forward include the introduction of a ‘no waiting restriction’ with single lines. Another involves no waiting at any time with double yellow lines to junctions and narrow areas for safety reasons. The third is to request that the school provides parking for the pupils on-site.
Brian Thompson, who is head of highways west at the county council, said: “We have already received a high number of responses.”
