Pharmacy worker Mally Woodbridge retires after 28 years at Boots in Stamford

A WOMAN is ready to see the world after retiring from a pharmacy.

Mally Woodbridge, 61, of Delaine Close, Bourne, retired from her job at Boots in High Street, Stamford on May 6.

She worked at the shop for 28 years and has fond memories of her time there.

Ms Woodbridge paid tributes to former colleagues including Peter Slaymaker and Mark Shelton.

She said: “I’ve made a lot of good friends over the years and I will be keeping in touch with them all.

“I would like to thank them all for the wonderful gifts and for all the memories they have given me.

“I had some hilarious times with Peter, he is such a character, and Mark has been a lovely manager.”

Ms Woodbridge is a keen photographer, painter and dancer, and plans to enjoy her hobbies while travelling the world and spending more time with her mother, two daughters and grandson.
