A CHILDREN’S play group which doubles as a support network for parents has marked its one year anniversary.

Volunteers and members from Bambinos Baby Centre based in Exeter Street, Bourne, celebrated with a cocktail night at The Angel Hotel.

Co-owner Kelly Bromley said: “The support we have had since opening just over a year ago is outstanding.

“This is just nothing like this group locally, it is a little sanctuary for parents where they can relax and meet other people.”

The group has been so successful it has outgrown its current home in BBK’s 2Cool4school building and is moving to a new premises in Manor Lane, along with Busy Bees, later in the year.

A table-top-sale is taking place on Saturday from 11am until 3pm at Bambinos, selling, new and used baby clothes and equipment, along with a cake stall and raffle.
