A FUNDRAISER is appealing for businesses to back her efforts to trek to the Everest base camp by displaying collection tins.
Gosia Wilkie, of High Street, Morton, will take on her biggest challenge to date when she treks to the Everest base camp in Nepal next October.
The challenge is in aid of Spinal Research, which researches a cure for spinal cord injury, and Gosia has raised thousands of pounds for the charity in memory of her aunt Edna Kancir, from Peterborough, who was paralysed in a car accident and died three years ago.
Gosia, 44, needs to raise about £4,000 to take part in the trek and although, she is hard at work fundraising for the trip, she needs businesses to support her by having collection tins.
Chinese restaurant Yang Xian in North Street, Bourne, and Smiths pub, also in North Street, have both agreed to have collection tins.
But she said more collection tins would help her and anyone who is willing to have one can phone Gosia on 01778 570293.
